  • They grow up way too fast. And hey, I had that same boppy pillow!

  • Awwwee.  Too fast how they grow.

  • No kidding. *sigh* I have to keep biting my tongue to stop saying to Rosaline “Stop that growing!!”

  • Ya’ll are ALL so very lovely.  Yup, time moves way too fast.

  • What is the significance of this date?

I read your post before this one, and I think what you are doing is awesome!

  • Time does move too fast.

    I can’t believe I have a teenager!

  • rumor has it if you tie a brick to their head, it will slow them down!

  • Amazing how time flies.

  • Wow.  :brokenheart:

  • Wow.

You’re all growing up beautifully. :)

  • goes too fast, doesn’t it?

  • No kidding!!! I wish it would just SLOW down!!!

  • i feel exactly the same way.  :sigh:

  • GREAT post.  It is fun to see pics of kids as they grow up.

Your hair looks like it was so long in the top photo!

  • My sentiments exactly!

btw; you look purdy dern hot today, mama!

  • great memories, thanks for sharing more of your wonderful life with us!

  • Sweet babies.  I do so wish they would slow down on the growing thing.  Maybe I’ll try that brick on the head.

  • So many comments!

    1. How seriously cute are those children of yours? What lovely babies you make! It does all go too fast.

    2. You are even more gorgeous now than seven years ago! This is hope for my theory that it is actually a woman’s thirties when her beauty truly peaks. It is possible that this theory is largely attributable to my impending thirtieth birthday but I am sticking to it nonetheless.

    3. I love the painting hanging up in the photo from two years ago. Did you paint it?

  • What a great *look* back.  So sweet.  I love seeing you pregnant…and Jesse – those beautiful eyes.  You could spot them anywhere.

  • Look at all those beautiful people grow!

  • Wonderful collection.

  • lovely site:big-smile:

  • And time goes more quickly the older they and we get. I still can’t figure that out.

  • Funny how they change, but in some ways, stay the same kwim? What cuties!!

  • That is awesome!

  • *sigh* This one made me eyes leak a little.

  • now I have the pic pages song in my head!!! thanks Julie!

  • such sweet memories.

  • I know, right?!?! Lovely pictures- the one at the window took my breath away. Julie, WHEN are you going to start your own greeting card line, publish a book, something so more people get to see your photographs?!?! Hugs, Lisa

  • Those are so beautiful.

  • RYC: Yes, those are pole beans. And my dh actually has a friend that owns a pressure washer so we borrowed it from him. I love the pressure washer so much I might keep it and give the guy my dh instead.

  • Thanks for giving us that glimse!  I like your babybelly and Jesse’s young face!

  • Now THAT is totally cool. How’d you manage to DO that? Is this a date on your calendar that you mark down and note to take a photograph? Love the idea – you are amazing. And your kids, WOW – are they darling through the years :) . I guess I’ve been reading you for a year now, as I think I remember that photo of Roo and Jesse from a year ago!

  • Wow.  Your photos give a sense of both immanence and transformation through time.   Powerful.  That’s how we often see our children, isn’t it?  In the lens of past, fleeting present, and multiple potentials/futures?

For me it drives home once again how the small things along the way matter so much.  All the love and choices.  It all matters.  That helps me relax and enjoy now.

I swear the wistful wish to slow time just makes it seem to faster and the more we just enjoy, the more it seems to slow down.  But as we get older, time seems to go faster in retrospect.  It’s all about perspectives and change.

  • I love how you enjoy every single day with them.

  • That is beautiful. I’m all weepy now.

    Love you.

    Love and Laughter,
    Amy

  • So cute! Baby Jesse looks a lot like Roo. It does fly, doesn’t it?

  • They are so gorgeous. You could have told the baby with the red boppy was Roo and I would have believed you. They look more similar than I realized.
