Lucy says how can you not love someone who poops THIS much?

    Oh, it’s love alright.

(and yes, she drew on her eyebrows with sharpie in order to “look more dastardly”)

“They say that every snowflake is different. If that were true, how could the world go on? How could we ever get up off our knees? How could we ever recover from the wonder of it?” -Jeanette Winterson

“I always wanted to invent something that would move around & make funny noises & would change the world as we know it & I forgot all about that until we had kids & now I see I came pretty close.” ~Brian Andreas

  • It Has Been Awhile

And I would like to tell you these things; that we spend our days together talking and exploring and building and writing and dreaming and staying warm by the fire.  I would like to tell you how she lost 4 teeth in 2 weeks and now she wears a gappy grin that could melt the heart of the surliest teamster.

I would like to tell you how he has been building with Legos and and drawing and making origami and eating a large number of beans and growing so quickly we stand nearly eye to eye and this makes my heart wilt.

I would like to tell you about my tattoo and how it means inner strength.

And I would like to tell you how we spend our days flying down hills on our sleds and building snow forts and drinking hot cocoa.

But mostly I want to tell you how much happiness there is. I want to tell you how I am filled with so much clean contentment that I am spilling over the edges with it.

    I am happy.
