Things I Keep Meaning To Tell You
(in photographs, and words)
~~~~~one day she had a cold and so she needed extra tissues
we have our deep and quiet days.
some days are not so deep.
we are happier more than we are not happy.
And now she is five. While my heart does ache for the passing of time and the way the days pass, I am grateful because I am here with her, laughing and breathing.
my heart beats and i am glad.there is no love like this love.
Jesse has been making Origami seals, kangaroos
butterflies
it is all so amazing
The stream runs by the back field and so we wander there.
sometimes we imagine we will find gold but mostly we find moss, salamanders and ferns.
And this is treasure enough.I am breathing, mostly. It have been on a strict diet for 5 months now and have been excluding dairy, wheat, soy, some nuts, chocolate, coffee, tea, for almost three months and I am a new person. I had no idea that dairy especially, was having such a large impact on my health/energy/mood/asthma.
So now I eat a lot of beans but I am happy.
See how happy I am?This is all true, every bit.
I ADORE this post! Thank you for sharing it with us. . .
yay!
Hooray for breathing!
Hooray for little girl birthdays! and little boys too.
Hooray for moss and salamanders :frog:
oh- and we finally figured out that corn products, mostly corn syrup, was causing Stella’s belly and legs to ache. Food costs more now, but I don’t wake up in the middle of the night to comfort a crying little girl.
I love this. Evidence of a good, rich life.
Happy birthday. I am glad that you are happy
So glad you have posted…I also find it hard to post when things are hard at home. We need to abandon money and just barter our way through life! LOL We would be much better at that I think. I’m glad you have had positive things come from your diet change. I’m always impressed with a person that can do that. Blessings to your home from ours…We are celebrating Zacha tonight as he turned double digits this week. I also find it hard to believe that the years slip by while we blink. The stream is so beautiful also!
I’ve noticed similar things about dairy, too. I am SO glad you are feeling better, and breathing. As usual, love your pics. I can’t believe that Roo is FIVE!
I love your picture posts.
You look fabulous.
I’m reminded of my pair of blue hair clips I bought from you when I see your last pic……..
I love them.
lovely!
I was just thinking about you yesterday!! I’m glad the new diet is going well… and that your children are as precious as always.
beautiful
:love:
You all look fantastic! So glad to see the photos and post. Happy winter
I can’t believe how fast they are growing! Well, I can, but, …..ya know?
hello happy julie
so beautiful. you and the post.
every blessing to you and your family.
Read an article last night and thought of (worried about) you…. About the newest asthma inhalers. It was the Advair and Serevent that put me into a tailspin of never-ending, acute asthma episodes again and again until I finally took myself off of them, prompting my doctor to suggest in my chart that I was coming into the office with acute, critical asthma attacks because I had stopped using the inhaler. It was clearly a way for her to cover her backside, instead of taking responsibility for prescribing an inhaler that put me into that tailspin of never-ending, life threatening asthma attacks. If you’re using one of those, I can’t encourage you strongly enough to ask for one of the older, proven inhalers, such as flovent, which you can probably start on a loading dose for a month and then cut back to even just a puff a day, which is what I do. Anyway, much love and hugs and happiness your way. The link to the article: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/06/health/policy/06allergy.html?_r=1&ref=health
Your posts make my days happier, too. Love you, Lisa
Oh, I am so glad. My son and I were recently diagnosed with celiac disease (gluten intolerance), and it has made so much difference. We’re off the dairy too.
Happy #5 to R!
Wow, Julie–Roo is growing up so fast–she now looks like a young girl (vs. a toddler). Happy 5th Roo! And I’m happy to hear the Feingold diet seems to be helping you. I hope your health and happiness continues to improve.
Your happiness is my happiness!
Breathing is so not overrated… but I rarely feel grateful for such an amazing gift. What a nice post. I missed you!
Have a terrific holiday!
I’m so glad to hear things are going well for you! I hope they continue and know you are not alone on a strict diet for health Mama!
