Bounty, Joy, Gratitude
~~~~~
The garden has been turned and all that remains are some herbs and a few rows of Swiss chard. I think of how sad I am to see summer go and remind myself that the earth needs rest and sometimes life moves at a pace we cannot keep. I just might need some rest as well.Do you know how much I love to shell beans? Do you know that when I sit there, on my old porch on this old farm, I think about the generations before me and the way they grew things and tended to them. This is the way that it was and is and I am so glad for this continuation.
am thankful for that thin thread that connects me to something so true
Ithis is what I see when I shell the beans
Jesse makes lawn tents
It’s a new day
I am ready and grateful
Bring it on.
What an amazing blue sky! But hello, no update in so long, where have you been? Hope all is well with you!
I like your beans. I like the other things, but mostly I like your beans. I like beans. I like beans a lot and not just because they are the musical fruit, but that helps. I like to toot.
I haven’t been here for a while. I haven’t been reading blogs or writing at my own that much these days. But I came to use you as an example for alternatives to the blogspot format with a narrow strip of text in the middle. I hope you are well, or weller, or more involved in being and less involved in recording and enjoying everything that there is to enjoy and blowing off just as much of the rest as you can do and not have it infringe on the enjoyable things. So, hello.
