Happy Thanksgiving!
Bounty, Joy, Gratitude ~~~~~ The garden has been turned and all that remains are some herbs and a few rows of Swiss chard. I think of how sad I am to see summer go and remind myself that the earth needs rest and sometimes life moves at a pace we cannot keep.
I just might need some rest as well.
Do you know how much I love to shell beans? Do you know that when I sit there, on my old porch on this old farm, I think about the generations before me and the way they grew things and tended to them. This is the way that it was and is and I am so glad for this continuation. I
