     Of Loud Music, Quiet Contemplation, Delicious Things, A Life Both Sweet and Tenuous

    ~~~~~~~
    It feels like fall; the air is clean and the leaves are slowly turning and everything feels like it is easing down for a rest.   I am eager though; I am wanting to start fresh with spring all over again and am sad that winter lies before me when i am so unprepared in my heart.  I am resisting this change even though I know that surrender might be an easier task.   Sometimes life is not that simple.
    I have my good days and not so good days and the words still do not come easily but rather pass by me in little shifts saying, “here we are now, no wait, perhaps later then” and if I miss the window to write, then I am at their mercy until they pass again.
    I am learning to grab the opportunities when I have them.  You are good to bear with me here when I write so little and comment so rarely, thank you.
    We made marshmallows, really we did
    like sticky manna from heaven
    This is the way the seeds lay, like this
    this is the way I sit and think about fall
    stronger than you would imagine.
    nothing is easy but everything is worth it.
