yesterday was Trevor’s birthday so I made him this chocolate torte with blackberries
(thanks for the recipe, J)

There’s a Bright Eyes song I love that mentions a yellow bird. I had a sad experience with a yellow bird when I was very small…so yellow birds are never far from my mind. I love the symbolism.
