My Dad Had A Barracuda
and i remember this: riding in the back in the deep, deep night with the moon and all the stars and my sister was breathing next to me in her sleeping bag and we were going somewhere but it did not matter.

(me and the barracuda)
I remember that he loved that car.

Today must be a day for trips down memory lane. Is that you?
Great memories!
It is so fun to find old pictures like that.
I love that photo!!!
thane’s first car was a barracuda with no back windows and (maybe?) no engine….
(you were cute even then.
Sounds like you did, too.
My Dad had a station wagon. We used to “camp” out in the drive way and talk on the CB. He would drive us to McDonalds for breakfast still in our sleeping bags. ahhhh the good life!

OMG you were cute. You still are cute, of course.
When we used to go on road trips, I used to like watching the rain bubble up on the windows and called it “popcorn.” And at night I liked laying down in the back seat watching the headlights of other cars dancing over the ceiling and the pictures they would make.
Sweet!

This is about the fourth time I’ve visited your blog and I just want to thank you…it’s beautiful, and a little slice of peace and heaven every time I’ve wandered here.

Wonderful post, wonderful picture. Wonderful you. Lisa
memories … my dad had an old sky blue Ford LTD 4-door. I remember sitting between my brother and sister in the back … the hump in the floor was mine, for my feet.
