Life, etc
It is hard to find the time to blog sometimes. There are days when i blog in my mind; writing it all down as if I am sharing it with you. Then I come here, with five minutes to write and think, where did the time go? What do i have to say, really? But every now and then I find a window of time and the words are there and it all falls out on the pages and I am glad.
I am feeling better; still very wheezy but brighter and more with it. Trevor says my eyes are shining again, that seems like a good sign. This illness has made me long for winter even more; I am ready to slow down and rest a bit.
Nina is ready, too.
Lucy just wants to know where her frisbee is
We are off to a halloween party today, the kids are wild with excitement as the next 48 hours are bound to be treat filled and shriek heavy. Roo is dressing as a dragon and Jesse as a transformer. Pictures to follow.

I have a secret Etsy pumpkin and she made this gorgeous scarf and now I will never take it off, ever. See www.shunklies.etsy.com , she is an incredible fiber artist and creates things that will make you swoon.
things like this!
there it is, all of it. the fall, the leaves, the air that bites
the leaves are pretty like gold, like rust, like lifelines on paper
It’s a good, good life.

Glad you are doing better! I LOVE the scarf!!!:dancingcow:
We are also off to a Halloween Party,Happy Halloween!!!
Have a wonderful Halloween. Glad you are well, and I am looking forward to winter too.
I am so glad that you are feeling better! Can’t wait to see those costume pictures! And that scarf is devine. It looks as though you haven’t lost all your leaves yet. We have lost most of ours. A few trying to hang on, but this rain and wind has taken most of them. The picture of you and Lucy is the best.
Glad you’re feeling better. I’ve had a cough since the kids started school. Dang thing won’t go away! The scarf is lovely and so are your photos.
Enjoy the Halloween party. I am SO glad that you are feeling better.
That yarn! Your pictures! I am so glad that you are feeling a bit better. You deserve lots of winter rest and I guess in Maine, you’ll get lots.
I’m glad you are feeling better.
The scarf is gorgeous, every bit as beautiful as the woman who wears it.
Hope you feel whole and healed soon. (((((Gentle Hugs))))). Here’s a warm afghan for your knees and a hot cup of miso broth with greens to soothe your bodymindspirit. Blessings abound
I’m curious about “unschooling”. How does this work? Do the children have to meet certain educational standards? Does it fall under religious/spiritual views? I plan on homeschooling (when I have children) because it is a proven fact that education comes through expierence, but I didn’t know that “unschooling” (or whatever it is called is an option)
:camera:
ps. you pictures are beautiful. did you recieve formal education in photography? Or did you learn through experience? :big-smile:
*swoons* at that last picture.
That’s gorgeous.
I love the way you express yourself.

And such a pretty, pretty life.
Nina is so precious.
You are a goddess!
And Patti, er, I mean Lucy, does not look like a Barbie killer. And that is why I love her so..
I am so ready for winter! I am sure, no matter where I end up on this planet, I will need seasons. All glorious four of them…
((((((hugs)))))))
I write lots of things in my mind too, especially thank you notes. After a while, I’m not really sure if I REALLY wrote the note or not! ;P Anyway, I’m actually writing now to say I’m glad to know you’re feeling better.
Your entries always make me smile.
Great news about your health. Beautiful scarf. I love the picture of you and Lucy. I love people who let their dogs lick their faces. Julie, you’re a good one!
You sound great!
Lisa
