~~~~~
~Trevor took the kids for an overnight at camp so i might have some time alone
~I am felting, reading, walking in the woods and playing in the garden
~ I feel the winds changing today and can smell fall in the air
~ I am wishing we had more unschooled free range children to play with, Jesse would really love that once school starts
~I am thinking of Trevor’s birthday, he turns 40 on Monday and we are having a little party for him.
~ I am thinking in bits and pieces about life and time and love and fear and joy.
~I am watching our windmill spin in the breeze and I am grateful.
The End.
All I can say is this.
Visualize Whirled Peas.
:ROTFL:
Mmmmm, lovely.
Wow, you capture things so beautifully. Enjoy your time.
Ahhhhh, simply lovely.:love:
:big-smile: I’m so happy for you that you get some time alone. The idea of smelling fall in the air in New England brings tears to my eyes. Sigh. Such a nice thing, your fall.
Love the berries and the action shot of the peas! Woo hoo for time alone! And happy early birthday to Trevor!
The air is changing! Here today too you could tell…it’s lovely and sad all at once. I wish you lived just one hour closer. I would be so inclined to stay at a hotel near you and visit. Are there any hotels near you even? I know stuff like that in ME can be few and far between!
Lovin’ the peas. And your windmill… I wish for a windmill. :big-smile:
I hope you enjoy and are still soaking up the you time :big-smile:
I have never before considered peas photoworthy. But alas, as always, you change my perspective Julie. Gorgeous! Enjoy your night.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!
You know, I’ve never heard anyone else besides dh and I use the term free-range children.
Yummy harvest. Very yummy.
I think I would sit and stare at that windmill for hours. Beautiful tendrils,beautiful peas. Lovely, lovely….:love:
Please don’t mention summer ending! I’m not ready! :so-sad:
As always thanks for sharing your abundance of beauty and blessing with us. Soooo glad you got some alone time. I cherish those moments. Dreaming of all your glorious unschooling adventures this year and hoping Jess connects with another free spirit this year!
Enjoy your time alone. I wish that we all lived in one little xanga commune and our littles could run wild together.
Yay for the windmill!
How is it that you can make peas look romantic and lovely? Your photos are always wonderful.
I like this entry.
<3
Love the peas and the mittens.
Gorgeous photos, like always. Too bad that MI and Maine are so far apart. We don’t have any unschooled families in our area either (or at least, no one that will admit that they unschool *sigh* )
Love the green pics
And I can so understand your feelings about having more kids around. I was just talking with my husband this morning about the same thing,”our kids have these wonderful free lives, but sometimes it’s lonely”. My thoughts this morning.
the swirly things, the berries and those flowers are just beautiful!!! (well, so is every thing else) I want to frame the flower one and put it on my wall!!!!! :love:
i love the second photo. isn’t nature awesome?! :big-smile:
Katie’s all time, most favorite food is peas!! She’s over the moon about your photos and thinks you’re some kind of ethereal pea goddess!!
How sweet about the dad/babe camping trip!!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your delightful husband. I hope you all had a wonderful day together!
Everything you have here is wonderful, and makes me happy. The windmill is hypnotizing.
You are a very good stager-I always love looking at your photos.
Happy Birthday Trevor! (He looks more like a “Bob” than Trevor to me.)
I love the idea of Roller Derby peas!!:)
I would love to learn more about your wind turbine…how much power you get from it and all. I’m looking into solar vs. wind and figuring out how to convert a very mainstream, suburban home in as many ways as possible.
Lovely, breathtaking photos…as usual.
