Joy, Rain & Green Things
~I am obsessed with peonies, I admit it. My obsession leads me to talk about them a bit much and Roo is most inspired by this (she does like excitement). However, in the store today she decided to announce these facts to all present by stating,
“my mommy really loves peonises”.
(while this is true, it is not something I announce with any regularity.)
~~~~~
And Now For Something Else Entirely
It rained a bit and we were happy
The broccoli was happy
And then the sun came out and this butterfly was happy
and we ate fresh wild berries
and watched the sun go down
My babies are asleep now; they are exhausted from running in the fields and ready for the dreams to come. Tomorrow will be more of the same and yet it will all feel new, new, new.
New, every day is new.
How gloriously beautiful, Julie. Joy reigns!!
Roo, ROFL!!
And I adore your photos so much.
Does happy broccoli give you laughing gas?
Love the pic of the raspberry. Magical post.:love:
When I say “broccoli” online I usually really mean something else. :wink-wink:
LOVE the pics! Especially Roo in pink in all that green and the happy brocolli! Oh, and the berry in hand! What a great day you all had! :celebrate:
LOL at Roo! Your eye and that new camera sure do find some pretty stuff…
I love the water droplet one, and Roo’s coat is brilliant. The path looks intriguing, where does it lead? We enjoyed the rain, it was well absorbed by our garden (or lack of this year), although our last baseball game was cancelled. That was okay. We sat under the awning and the team ate icecream cones. Even though it is cloudy and rainy, I hope that you feel the warmth of sunshine.
Beautiful!! As usual.
i love peonies too! :love:
Coming here is such a good thing. I laugh, loudly. I hear fantastic new music. I see your pictures and find myself not breathing. :love:
I’m mad about peonies too. A glorious day.
Thanks for the giggle. Of all the things my children have publicly announced, that one takes the cake! :ROTFL:
Wow, those pictures are art. I love the one of roo, the colors . . . brilliant. And the b/w hand holding the red berry. Lovely.
I just love to read your blog, ok!
:ROTFL: That Roo!! I love it.
I had to take two of my students (age 3)to the nurse’s office bathroom the other day, a boy and a girl, and while the boy was going, the girl was washing her hands and she says, “Daddy has a big pee pee like that at home”… it was hilarious!
Meanwhile, your photography keeps getting more and more incredible. Have you sought publication at all?
LOL! Out of the mouths of babes.
Peonises! LOL. What a crack up Roo is.
You are all too lovely for words.
:sleepy: Your life is what dreams are made of…
You are often the reason that I right-click and say “download pictures” when I am doing my daily Xanga reading in my email inbox. Because I just can’t not see whatever you’ve got shakin’.
oh those peonises…
