I’ve never eaten one, but I’ve never met a mushroom I didn’t like.
Oh how I love puns. Thank you
I have never had one….
Clever title, amazing shots. Happy eating!
Gorgeous shots! But I will save them all for you. Fungi and I do not get along.
I remember “mushroom hunting” when I lived in Indiana, I can find em’ but don’t eat em’.
yum!
i found morels 10 feet away from my back porch this year and along side my garage…here’s hoping they come back next year!
Yummy! Our morels were out soooo early this year because of some funky weather – then came the cold blast and we missed them.:so-sad:
I’m flat out jealous. The weather has been all kinds of crazy around here too, that I keep wondering if there might still be a chance for some….when it finally quits raining and is actually warm out, that is. :wink-wink:
They look good.
We used to go mushroom hunting every spring when I was a kid! How fun and soooo delicious! The only mushroom I will willingly eat…the elusive morel! Mmmmmmm! Great pics! Enjoy!
You know, I was thinking just yesterday, Julie should really write a book. All these beautiful things should be published and shared with a much broader audience. You have so much wisdom and talent and you know how to put it all together. Go big.
very unique looking, :big-smile:
What benzismama said ^…. Also, I just caught up with the news that you and Pina are visiting with each other and you have no idea how jealous I am that two of my favorite Xanga people are getting together. Have a fabulous time (like, there’s any way you won’t), and give each other a big smooch for me.
You have morels?!!!!!!! Lucky!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful photograph, just beautiful!
Boy howdy…I’ve got the garlic to go with those yummies!
my dh would lick the monitor screen if I showed him those shots! Great photos; as always!
Oh I love morels! Sadly where we live in Tn they are hard to find…. I know when some ppl find a good patch it’s top secret! Nice pics!
Lucky duck,I haven’t found any in years!!
Oh my goodness! I’m so jealous!
My husband is a mycologist (studies mushrooms/fungi), and we’ve been desperate to find morels here in Georgia, but it’s just been too darn dry. We used to go morel-hunting every season in Wisconsin with his professor/mentor, who is a renowned field mycologist and has focused a lot of his research on morels.
Enjoy!
For some reason that texture really makes my skin crawl. I saw rocks with a similar texture and it just gives me the shivers.
Sorry – but honestly, for a second or two, I thought it looked like a wrinkly old man’s dick or something:frog: Never saw one but will read to see what it’s about. :celebrate:
Ummm, I love morels, and chantarelles. We are big mushroomers here!
Morels are wonderful. We don’t have them up here in this part of the forest, but in the valley, they are abundant. blessings abound
Cheeky monkey.
I haven’t picked morels since I was a wee girl in the woods of Oklahoma. They look tasty.
