trouble, on the double!
If it is quiet, really, really quiet downstairs
then your three year old is either:
~sleeping in a blanket, all adorable-like and vanilla-scented
~reading her Dora books to herself and saying “ebola” instead of “abuela”
~cutting her pants up into ribbons with a pair of scissors.
guesses?
doh.

She and my J would get along famously.
Ditto to the above comment.
That face… OMG that face is priceless.
Hmmm, which would I pick……hmmm.
Oh my! Suppose that’s better than her hair though I think she’d look cute with a short bob.
LOL at ‘ebloa’!
She is so stinkin’ *cute*!
baha. that picture is perfect.
She looks the very definition of mischievous. Love.
I’d have had to pick (c).
LMAO!!
I’m going to go with “Door #3~~!”
With a look like that – absolutely no. 3. Abby has come out of the closet about her ‘scissor problem’, and decided she should give them up and she’s 6. Give her a huge hug and lots of love.
haha
Hey, I notice she has not cut her hair off…..
My son had a penchant for cutting the toes of his socks off. That and a big chomp out of a really cool shirt….
Yikes! But then cutting pants is better than them cutting their hair! LOL at “ebola”. Very cute.
She is one creative little miss.
Heehee!
OMG LOL I want to see the pants please!!!
When my kids were younger, if it was quiet, something was up–and invariably it wasn’t good.
Yeah, quiet is never good. My two-year-old was quiet a while ago. He was playing its raining guinea pig hay in the basement while I was making dinner. Ugh.
lets see if she’s anything like mine definately the scissors or hiding her brothers toys so she can play with them when no one is looking.
Wennie likes to let things swim in the toilet!
Look at her face; how can you let her out of your sight??? *LOL*
Oh, I know all about “quiet” moments. They’re *skeery* in my house
#2 and 3 at the same time- Why not?! My daughter never had the scissor problem, but she still tries to decorate the walls and furniture.
What a little imp! So funny.
Couldn’t pass this one up, what a cutie!
Hair ribbons?
If your three year old is anything like my five year old, I know that she is hunkering down creating a new outfit with scissors (=
I LOVE that face!!!
ha ha!
what a photo!
i cut my hair with scissors when I was her age so…I can see where she is coming from :>
it could be worse
that is all you have to tell yourself
that picture is perfect!
What a perfect picture. Love it with the story!
I’m laughing so loudly that I’m afraid I might have wakened the baby. Oh. My. Lisa
sleeping in a blanket…you wish!
reading her books…at least she would have been trying…
cutting up her pants…you knew it would be this all along!
when my cousin was two she cut off all her hair at the front. she had a fetching mullet for a while! *sigh*
My oldest is 11 and STILL has the worst fascination with fidgeting with scissors.
oh and pencils–
we hid ALL the scissors, so he started poking pencils through his clothes.
fabric glue was fun for a while too…
I’m amazed he had any clothes left to pass down to his brothers!
Hopefully this too will pass–preferably before they turn 18…
Giving herself a haircut? Or maybe, painting her naked body with red nailpolish like my 3yo did?
That is sounding way too familiar. The real question is ‘Do you just enjoy the quiet, no matter what the consequences or do you investigate?’
In my house, it means only one thing: poo. Actually, everything means poo in my house. Poo poo poo
Ebola. ROFLMAO
She looks so cute and deranged in that 3 yr old kind of way.
Oh my! That picture is hilarious! She looks so guilty! haha
LMAO
Oh my! I go into panic mode if the house gets too quiet! I love that facial expression. LOL!
A perfect angel.
let me guess…..the last of the two! That face is PRICELESS!
TOOO CUTE! And yeah…at least she didn’t cut her hair.
that look on her face says it all…the same look mine gets on hers when she’s up to no good!*
*according to the adult definition of the term.
she would probably be busy doing something, so i pick #3
Scissors are soooo much fun!
Scissors scare me. Thankfully because Trevor is still little I can use him as an excuse to keep them put away except for when we do crafts together.
LOL! I have also learned that quiet is not necessarily good
Just when you think silence is a good thing…. ahahahaha!
oh I can so relate! my kids havent yet moved up from paper, but when its too quiet its frequently the newspaper meeting its demise. I can deal with that, I usually just try and enjoy the quiet! of course, other times its poo. lol
Oh No! I am in love with that picture of her!
i love ur photos!! ur daughter is so cute too!!
I vote for #3.
Emily would spend her quiet time drawing on the walls with permanent marker.
Or she would be promenading with her five imaginary ponies.
OMG that is such a cute picture! I love it.
you take just beautiful pictures and capture such great moments!
Let’s see the jeans!
Aidan loves his Dora & Diego almost as much as he loves “Taco” (Paco) the parrot on PBS’s Maya & Miguel. It’s refreshing to hear other 3-yo speak.
LOL,LOL,LOL!!! That face spells TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn’t matter, could it? Give that cutie a hug.
It couldn’t matter, could it? Hug that cutie!
I’m sure her “new” pants are very stylish.
She is so cute. And BTDT, not strips but holes in Naomi’s pants.
Too cute for words!
HAHAHA how funny
LOL.. What a precious pic.
Thanks for sharing!
Christy
hahahahahahahahahahahahaaaa!
I love Roo!!
Scissors are the BEST! As long as they don’t bite!
