5 things you do not know about me
My nickname in high school was “wedge” (enough said)
I did not learn how to end a failing/unhealthy friendship until I was 34. Now, I know how.
I smoked from 1987-1992 and I quit for love
I am very claustrophobic but I can make myself get on a plane (it’s hard though)
I am fiercely competitive at board games and I play to win.
Bonus: mud season is here in full swing and our dirt roads are so messed up and bumpy that I now need a sports bra to drive on them.
Want to play?

Mud season!!! I miss Vermont’s mud season! I use to love driving around the dirt backroads in my Chevy Shove-it! That thing would power through and never once got stuck.
Hugs’n'Smooches
I’ll give it a whirl, although… I’m a pretty open book. I’ll have to really think about 5 things that people don’t know about me.
Also, we live on a small (10 acre) farm. DH tried to pull the van up to the door one night after visiting his parents. He got stuck in the yard trying to pull out. I have some very nice ruts in my yard now.
Hehe! I just ordered new bras because I have the same bouncy challenge! So funny.
I will play if I can think of 5 things I have not yet shared over the years…this may be hard.
You just seem so non-fumeur to me. Good for you that you quit. Are you holier than thou now???
I quit for love, too — and really, it was the best thing. And the smell of old cigarette ash is horrible to me now… and yet… I occasionally sometimes… want one.
LOL at the mud.
I, too, play board games to win. Way back when I babysat a boy (he was 7-9yo during those years) and he loved it when I came over because I wouldn’t *let* him win, he had to earn it. Especially with Monopoly.
Never play board games with SimplyPynki, that’s all I am saying.
I am actually an ex-smoker, too. It is a nice feeling to have beat that habit, isn’t it?
baha.
What?! I’m ok… It’s when you get together with both my husband and I that there COULD be possible bloodshed. Especially if we are opposing each other. Then I don’t have to win, but I like to, but I WILL do everything in my power to make sure that HE doesn’t win.
Well, I am pretty much an open book but I might give it a whirl. (Hint…I could use some tips on how to end unhealthy friendships)
Ha* a sports bra:) aww…it all is so beautiful there…and your photos are just wonderful…I missed being here..and today I learned somethings new about you too
love this pretty song….hope the family is well…take care and have a great night* hugs…love, Lee
bahaha on the sports bra… i remember going running when i was pregnant with mmicah (about 4 months) and having to grab my boobs when i went downhill.
yay a bonus!
Wedge..haha..my nickname was sloppy socks
Julie, ha! a sportsbra!!! I smoked too for some time– see, we have so much in common!
L
Hm. Trivial Pursuit, anyone? Bwahaha
I am so flat chested, I can wear a sportsbra backwards and not notice unless I see the tag sticking out…
morning! thanks for the smiles!
Why Sweet Little Julie…..I’ll remember that if we should sit down to a game of Monopoly together one day!
You can layer your sports bras if the road gets even bumpier. (-:
I guess there’s a few of us out there. I quit smoking for love also and never regretted it. My lungs love me for it and I’ve got my hubby! I’d love to put you in a monopoly game against Tim and Rachael – they need some honest competition.
i’ve never had a nickname…boo hoo…
Mud season is in full swing here, bah! LOL to your bonus!
LOL at the wedge and the sports bra!
how exactly does one end an unhealthy relationship? i am 18 and don’t want to wait another 16 years before finding out!
Bourgeois blues: well, it depends on the dynamic and what is wrong with the relationship but honesty is always your best bet (not easy, but best).
