you have to love her fire (no, really, you do!)
Our Morning Roo-Ster
Lately, Roo wakes up shrieking like she is on fire and hauls out of bed in 30 seconds to race downstairs while letting it rip,
“I want to eat my cereal right now and the house is cold and where are my panties I want my Dora doll and Lucy is bumping me and don’t look at me but hold me and hold my hand no I candoitbymyselfdon’ttouchme arrggggh! Shriek, mutter, howl, grumble”
This morning was no different and while my girl stomped down the stairs, Jesse looked at me and said,
“man, that child is a verbal hurricane!”
hurricane, indeed.
I have no idea who she (ahem) gets it from.

LOL! Sounds like Jesse knows what he’s talking about.. and he has a good vocabluary! :p
What profound words from her brother!
Sounds like a daily adventure upon awakening every morning. Couldn’t ask for a more entertaining alarm clock could you?
Hugs’n'Smooches!
she sounds a lot like me when i was little….and can still be like that now haha
Roo’s monolouge makes me laugh.
Jesse is amazing…”verbal hurricane”!! And by the way you describe it, she truly sounds like a hurricane. Full of spirit!
Jesse needs his own blog. He’s a good comic writer in the making.
Roo is a riot! I’m sure it’s less funny first thing in the morning but she’s such a personality. I
the pics you have of both kids at the top of your blog. Such lively souls.
LOL. i’m guessing Roo and my little one have similar personalities. Good to know what’s ahead : )
I really like that Jesse. (-:
How are your nerves?
Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday night.
Tricia
So you’re going to France in a week? Is that right?
Since she sleeps in a different room, my daughter used to shriek until I came down there. Sometimes she still does.
hehehe we get the “mama wake up! i want some ogurt [yoghurt]!! mama you asleep?? i give daddy a superkiss!! i’m hungry!!! wake up!!! waaah GET up!!!”
and how funny is jesse???
I don’t know who is funnier – Roo or Jesse with “verbal hurricane”. That’s pretty creative and probably spot on….
isn’t this just part of our human development? its must be hard trying to figure out who we are,
and what is good versus
what is bad…. i’m still having problems figuring this out! well,
good luck to you! : )
LOL He is a witty young man.
OMG your life needs to be on tv!! I would so watch it.
~i wish i had that much energy first thing in the morning~
LOL!
I’m using that one…”verbal hurricane”. Priceless.
Jesse is going to have your writing skills.
“Verbal Hurricane” Too funny
I think you have the female version of my Gabriel. He is screaming as we speak and when he isn’t screaming his endless chatter makes me want to scream. Love him, but he tries my every belief in parenting!
I love it.
“Verbal Hurricane”….That is brilliant!!!!
ooooh, your vacation is just around the corner…enjoy! verbal hurricane LOL (wonder where *he* gets his wonderful way with words??!)
hrmm…she is 3, no? hee hee….i think her and S would be *Great* friends…:)
I love “verbal hurricane!” And that morning adjustment period is a bitch, isn’t it?
Oh my. How cute. What verbally precocious children you have.
Ha sounds like my Kodiak he dose the same thing
oops does
Jesse is way too cute! (And way smart too!) Sounds like Roo has a touch of the MacKenna about her. lol No idea where either of them get it from. *insert innocent face here* lol
Verbal hurricane – I love it! Sounds like Roo is a morning girl!
jesse is so funny – well Roo certainley is cuter than a real rooster so…I imagine it all works out. Ah the 3 yo is a wonderful beast, eh?
Sound like she’s in between needing you and wanting to do it herself. Such a tricky place!! I love your blog, it is very fun to read!!
I am sorta like that in the morning……
I LOVE Jesse comments on Roo. Too stinking cute! I don’t know how I would cope with waking in such an abrupt fashion. I am sssllloooowwww in the morning. It takes me a while to really wake up. I have to lay still for a few minutes. My little girl will snuggle and cuddle close until I am aware enough to get up and going. And although I would probably be shaking with shock of it all. I adore the image of little Roo waking up instantly letting the world know she is awake and raring to go. Love it!! All of you are too fabulous. Have a great day Julie! Hugs:)
It’s always funny when my girl does something exactly like her mom, and then my wfie, completely serious, tries to figure out were she gets soemthing.

Got a little impatient with the submit buton. Sorry there.
LOL! So cute (well, except the whole shrieking part).
Jesse is so smart… verbal hurriacane? You are writing this stuff down, aren’t you.
oh, wait…
Doh!
A verbal hurricane? He’s a poet! Lisa
My Jasmine (same age) does that too. It’s insane. Like she hates waking up but has way too much energy to pour into her hatred of morning time. She gets it from me.
