Lovin’ it! Julie, did you paint that or did it come that way? We have one that I’d like to paint, but not sure of the process. Danke!
I totally love it.
You have a RED tub??? Please, please, please come and decorate my future home??? I would kill seven people to have a red tub. I’ll take the wall color too.
Nice feet!! Roo’s or Jesse’s?
hee hee love the feet!!!!
LOL
A great photo! Great music too – who is it? I love it
nolamomma: it was in rough shape when I pulled/heaved it out of an old house in town for $100. I sanded the exterior heavily (including the clawfeet) and put 2 coats of primer on. Then I sprayed on two coats of automotive paint and that made for a durable, very shiny waterproof surface.
I did all of this outside, by the way.
Shack: those are my feet, I am on my stomach!
Well, of course it is!
Love the picture!! Very very different!
Love, love, love this photo.
This is my fav pic of all the reds I have seen!!(love the tub too!)

Beautiful portrait! Also, just wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed your self portraits this year. Have been lurking due to being daunted by the xanga format.(silly, I know) Well, here goes. And I love that tub, awesome red.
That is an awesome picture!! I love it!
We have the exact same tub (except ours is a bit more burnt red than yours). I love, love, love it!
OMG It IS indeed! A red tub – I dream of such a thing! I’d never leave it!!!
=)
TY for the how-to! I’m dying to do ours… I’d love red, one of my favorite colors, but our bathroom walls are dark blue now… hmmm, maybe silver.
I have loved that tub since I first saw it on your blog! Beautiful! And so are the little people IN the tub. Or is there just one of your little ones in there?
And who do those cute toes belong too??
I am jealous of your tub!! Rubadubdub!!

That is a really neat picture. I love the tub.
I want a new bathroom. Am willing to knock out walls if I must.
What heaven it must be to have a beautiful big soaking tub like that! (Beautiful picture too)
Wow! That’s great! I’d love to have an old tub like yours!!
The fact you got this tub for $100 and turned it into that fabulous piece of heaven is incredible. I love clawfoot tubs. We always had one growing up. I want one now!
