Cookies, More Odd And Fertile
Creaturettes, General Giddiness
~~~~~
Today was Christmas cookie baking day in our household which included but was not limited to;
dough flinging
the sprinkling of sugar on the dog
overconsumption and the resulting sugar-stagger complete with collapse
egg-nog spillage
the use of every available bowl, spoon and glass in the cupboards.
holiday tickling
slight guilt for some of the above (quickly smothered by additional cookies)
wrestling under the tree (I won’t say who)
playing in mud
knitting mitten #1, my first ever!! (it’s fugly but it’s all MINE, MINE, MINE!)
Jess, the toothless wonderboy! He can suck spaghetti through it!
More Odd Chickies (Don’t ask me why they are pregnant, I have no idea)
A Huge Mega Thanks to Heather who generously sent me a box of gorgeous roving to feed my newest addiction.
This pregnant mermaid is most boobular.
the evidence
I’m off, must make sure the dog has cleaned up all the crumbs on the floor…
Hope your evening is full of delights!!
Ohhh, silly faces and mama figurines! yummy cookie,
I want to come to your house to play!
Pregnant with the possibilities?!
Sounds like a wonderful day! I just stopped in to say hello.
Sounds like fun stuff! Those dollies are super cute… maybe they’re trying to tell you something? :p
Who knew that roving had such spunk?
You’re making me hungry for christmas cookies!
Sounds and looks like lots of fun!
Yes, the mermaid wins. That cookie looks tasty!
We already ate all the sugar cookies we’d made
. Time to make more, eh?
I love those Mama figures!!
I love his face!! Rosaline has a name for that particular face, she calls it a “plobo” (both o’s pronounced with the o sound as in “beau”)
OMG they are gorgeous creatures! Everything you touch is art. I love you.
what a wonderful day… ((((hugs))))
It was about the same at our house!
thank you for the word “boobular” – now when I’m nursing and get that lovely milk “let down” sensation…I can say, “oh, don’t talk to me right now, I’m super boobular at the moment…”
we also seem to be using every iota of dishware in the house everyday too…what is up with that???
I like your fertility figures and do believe that an artist invests such power in her work. You should put them on Etsy, or in an expensive coastal Maine gallery, when you have enough that you are ready to sell.
I love your fertility figures, they’re so lovely and full of light! Jesse looks super cute with his missing tooth, and Roo is ALWAYS a gem.
We’re doing cookies this weekend. I can’t wait!
I love your boobular fertile mamas! I like the one with the spiral belly the best!
I bet Lucy Loo looks striking with white sugar all over her sleek black fur!
You make me want to slow down and enjoy each day that much more!!
I love your little people!
Mmmm christmas cookies are the best!
The creaturettes are awesome!
How are you making those so fast and baking, too??? You amaze me sometimes.
Tracie: it’s easy because I love to poke things with needles…
Odd & fertile creaturettes, lol.
I have been a silent reader for a while now…I read you everyday and admire your energy!
You continue to inspire me!
Do you sell your creations and creaturettes online? You would do well on Etsy.com…or do you have a website that I don’t know about?!?
xo
Those dolls really are beautiful! My son is missing the same tooth…he hasn’t tried any spaghetti tricks with it though (note to self: explore this option). Your little Roo certainly looks full of the delights of cookies. So cute!
what a fun day…i love the boobular ladies…they are awesome…
What a fun place your house must be! it sounds like your a very blessed famiy, its great that you have fun together… and you don’t hesitate to play along, getting silly and crazy. What a good mom, and a good person(s)! ; )
I love every bit of it.
Another idyllic day.
You are so blessed.
Cute pregnant little ones! Sure makes me miss being pregnant
I *LOVE* your creaturettes!!!! We have been baking, also, and chocolate dipping and my kitchen is disasterous, but we have good stuff to eat.
All deliously beautiful creations.
Cool mermaids! I got 2 things in my mailbox today. 1. A wooden mermaid nursing a baby mermaid from my mid-wife mother-in-law. 2. A holiday card from you! Thanks so much! happy weekend to you!
Boobular is a word I have only heard my husband use.. until now! LOL!
The cookies look yummy.
Boobular……THAT is one funny word. I think I will dig out the underwire and be boobular today!! That would amuse me.
That’s like our gingerbread house day. All you can eat sugar and fun!
You’re awesome. Julie! Love your days and anecdotes of your days
. So by chance might you be PG thus the fertile outcomings of your art, LOL? (BTW, DO you want more kiddos?)
UMMM — I love the felted crazies. LOVE. I want a felted crazy to wear on my head. I think they would make good hat embellishments. I am completely serious.
HEY I KNITTED A MITTEN TOO! Akshully I crocheted it. It came out enormous. Why does everything I make come out way too big? It’s not NATCERELL.
