Stunning. They are both going to appreciate these photos when they are grown. The photos you take of your children always seem to perfectly capture the essence of being a kid.
does it fighten you at all to see your son becoming a man? it terrifies me some days, i grew up with all girls. it’s a beautiful thing to watch these children grow up and become their own person, yet so like us.
wow. that last one–i don’t think i’ve ever seen that side of him before.
And absolute beauty……
Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS!! They look so grown up … Roo is losing her baby face! It’s so awesome how you’re chronicling their childhood.
How sweet it is.
Wow! Great photos!
Unbelievably beautiful!
Do you think they could teach Ben how to cooperate??
very beautiful julie!
Julie, you just have the most beautiful family, I am just reeling!
they are both so gorgeous!
Why wouldn’t they be?
Perfect! …and look how much miss roo has grown since the picture of her in your header! Wow! You can see it in those so much!
They are so beautiful and growing so much. Wow -
Mine acts out awesome AFTER he sees the flash go off – silly boy but sometimes we do get good pics And YES this is Love….
INDEED!
So beautiful.
gorgeous!
I love that picture of Jesse, third from the bottom. It looks like the child’s version of the Thinking Man. You are so talented.
Such lovely work, mamma.
Dazzling, Julie.
Those are gorgeous. I swear we’re going to drive out there so you can take pictures of J and get him to SMILE for the camera. He always looks so glum in his pictures. Your kids look awesome.
Wonderful photos, Julie. My kids often ‘pose’ too much(although I’ve NEVER asked them to-they’re just very conscious of the camera, I guess). You (and your darlings) inspire me to work harder to catch them in more natural poses…
just lovely ; )
The black background really works. They look so unposed. I love these!!
Those are wonderful! I really love how you capture everything. Its just amazing and so close to the heart. You really make me feel like I am sharing something secret and personal with your pics.
Perfectly scrumptious Julie! Beautiful children, and beautiful photos!
my kids run when the camera is out. the first 3 years of Eli’s life he cooperated with us. now? no way. he runs. we have to bargain with him. bribe him!! he’s a goof!
Julie, I’m in awe again- of your lovely children, and your talent. Lisa
I LOVE those! The last 2 of Jesse especially!
Sometimes my kids pose for me and sometimes they run when they see the camera! I’m giving them a break, saving up for thanksgiving.
beautiful – and those EYES!!
That GRIN. I love it!! That sweet girl… sometimes I think Rosaline and Roo share a secret. They both have that… GRIN!
Your son really does look a lot like you!
I read your blog often (I’m an MDC Mama of two older kids) and I just wanted to say “hi.”
Stunning! I am so jealous…I have to chase after Zane in hopes of catching his eyes. maybe Zora will be a more willing subject.
