A Plea
Dear Abby,
A few weeks ago I was blessed with the arrival of this yummy gift in the mail: a rockin handmade bag created by none other than the fabulous former princess.
Abby, dude, this bag is so hip I cannot stand myself!
And here is my problem, now that I am wearing the bag everywhere and planning
outfitsensembles to compliment it I notice that I am getting a lot more attention. People are stopping me on the street, “wow, that is one fab bag, where did you get it and by the way, you are so hip to be carrying an accessory of this nature”
and on and on with the blah, blah, blah.
Now I’m not saying this isn’t the truth but the way people are
touching, fondlinggroping the bag and getting much too close to me just to be near IT, well that is just too much.
is it rude to shriek, “hands off the bag you greedy onlookers, it’s mine, all mine and you’re getting street smudge on it and if you leave the stench of tacos or cigarettes on it I will die” ?
If I could, I would swing that sucker over my head and send out a good whack with it but that would be disrepecting the bag and it wouldn’t be worth it. The bag has to come first!!
So Abby, how can I separate those who love me truly from those who love me for my bag and the air of hipness it provides?
I am desperately awaiting your response,
Jules
P.S. Abby girl, it even makes my butt look smaller, I swear!!!!
P.P.S. Abby, this bag has me so enchanted I even coordinated the colors in this letter to match it!
P.P.S. if your jealousy gets the best of you then you can buy equally hip (and slimming) things made by her by going HERE.

you’re a doll. really. smooch.
Great post! I might have to buy one of those bags. Especially if it has the power to visually shrink my butt.

No Hangbags for me – but Saw the gloves – UM…. Just maybe?
oooooohhhhh!!! That bag is lovely! She has such cute stuff!!!!
I think the best way to figure out this dilemma is to send the bag to me.
I’ll run some tests with it and get back to you….

That is a gorgeous bag.
Stop the presses…”Butt shrinking bag!!”
It is beautiful…I love the colors and have an extra fondness for combinations of patterns.
Gawgeous!
you make me giggle!
Will it make my stomach look flatter? AND it is a reversable bag? TWO bags in one! Yeah, if I saw you out with that bag, I would be one of those yahoos pawing at it, too. Gonna go check out the site. Congrats on your lovely bag…and your post was tooooo funny!
Oh, that is PRiDDy! I love it. And you are just too funny.
wowsers. that’s pretty amazing. is there some way that you can wear it so that is more on your body than off??? kind of like wearing money when in NYC?
I just watched a movie about hip/hop and sneakers and how limited edition Nikes were items to spark violence…yikes!
Lovely bag, Julie!! Sorry have’nt been able to comment as usual… xoxo
Wow, now that is what I call “power of the bag”. Hehehehe
That *is* one kick-ass bag! Though I still wouldn’t use it as a can of whoopass.
You crack me up. That is a great bag!

Oh cool, love it!
I am also now the proud owner of a formerprincess bag!! Mine is the asian print smaller bag. I’m going to wear/use it today… will report back on any stares or comments about whether I’ve lost weight, or anything like that
