I’ve been Tagged!!! (plus pictures)
(by joannatobin)
”Once you are tagged, you must post six things about yourself which are either weird, unusual, habitual, or are just plain fun to hear about (and true!). Once you post these things in your blog, you must gently* tag six to ten others in the Xanga world, who then, in the spirit of not wussing out, must read words like these and follow the same rules you did”.
Six Weird Things About Me
1. I can eat an OBSCENE amount of lobster when allowed; I once ate four of them in one night (it was a party and everyone kept giving me theirs just to watch the freak show).
2. My bellybutton is no longer a button, really just a shallow indentation.
3. I am irked by that book, “When I am an Old Woman, I Shall Wear Purple”. If you are going to be a “funky, neat old lady”, then just do it, quit yappin about it because that just makes it all seem so contrived and cliche.
4. I love the smell of clean band-aids, tomato leaves and gasoline; I’m sure I’m deficient in something, I don’t want to know what.
5. I cannot eat ketchup but mayo can go on everything. And I’m annoyed by those who spell it catsup.
6. I have never been to a Starbucks.
I am tagging:

Because it is YOU, I will play along.
I have only had a bite of lobster… I think I need to make it a goal to eat lobster, my OWN lobster!
Oh my heavens.
She just gets sweeter and sweeter.
Thanks for sharing your quirks with us.
i love those same smells. especially gas. mmmmm.
and i’ve never even had lobster. crime i know, but i just can’t do it
Those pictures are beautiful! I love the smell of tomato leaves and “Catsup” looks like something the cat coughed up . . .:giggles:
thank you julie.
Roo is doing ballet! :0)
RY (long ago) C: you win!!
And I blech lobster. As my sister-in-law once said, it tastes like rubbery grubs. blech blech blech So you can have mine.
Gorgeous pics. I hate to be repetitive, but your photographs take my breath away. I like the smell of tomato leaves too. Gasoline, I can do without. I agree about the spelling as well. It’s even worse when they pronounce it ‘catsup’.
Those are amazing pictures. She is growing so much.
I love lobster, too.
Roo is super great! Her face has changed so much in the last 6 months. Lobster = yum, mayo = not so yum.
I’m it! i’m it!! OOOh I’ll get to it soon! I swear!
The one thing about Starbucks is that they are good to their employees. I will say that. Oh if only I had all the money I’ve spent there (and other coffee places), I’d be reeeeeccchhh
Roo is so sweet.Oh Lobster and drawn butter…mmmm
Isabella Rose is home!
Awesome pics, as usual! And I’m amazed to hear that someone besides me likes the smells of clean Bandaids and gasoline. I must have the same chemical deficiency you do. I don’t suppose you also like the smell of tire stores? LOL…Lisa
My mouth is watering…for the lobster not the mayo.
Beautiful spinny Roo!
Like you I could be soooooo obscene about eating lobster as well. Hit a place in a small town in Maine where they served a twin lobster. The friend I was with watched me eat the first one and thought I didn’t know what I was doing. Then I got the second lobster and tore through it in about 1/4 of the time. I was savoring the first one as it had been so long since i had eaten lobster. The second one was specifically to be pigged out on.
Roo is such an adorable little girl. Your pictures are gorgeous as well.
4. I love the smell of clean band-aids, tomato leaves and gasoline; I’m sure I’m deficient in something, I don’t want to know what.
OMG ME TOO …..
except for the tomato leaves
for me its the taste of licking stamps and envelopes :]
I love the smell of band aids and anything vinyly plasticy like those intertubes you get for kids to swim in the pool in… or things you stick the the windows. YUM (ew?)!!
I emailed you btw… have you recived it?
Wonderful pictures!!!
You’ve never been to a starbucks???????? Trying to wrap my head around that. I went there 4 times last week. :blush

Yum, yum, yum…lobster. I cannot wait to go to Maine this month!
And, you have never been in a Starbucks?!?!?!? I’m with Melissa. Seems incomprehensible (at least for me with my 3-5 times weekly addiction). We have got to get a latte in you pronto…
Adorable as always!!! I went thru your Xanga last night to see if I can find the “assignment” I just saw that I haven’t done as promised (saw it in my private list) Have been off the track the past month
I am honored to “know” someone who has never been to Starbucks!!!! Me, on the other hand: I’m a junkie
. I love clean band-aids too! And I bet I could eat four lobsters in a sitting too – very yummy! My personal thing is peppers; I once ate an entire jar in one night. Oh, the heartburn!
love that little boob-a-loo, roo. AND i agree wholeheartedly about that whole old lady in purple thing. just do it, dude! or dudettes!
I like the smell of tomato on my fingers and lingering around the plants…lost the love for gas though…I used to love it though…but don’t know what it is but I just can’t do lobster…loved dearly by millions…I just can’t figure it out…
What a sweet girl!
I’ve always thought that children’s little bodies just aren’t big enough to contain their enormous and exuberant spirits. I can see Roo bursting at the seams.
RYC: Thank you!
Julie… thank you for the books! I will dive into them over my nightly Starbucks… which you MUST try atleast once in your life — then hope the closest one is still to far to frequent LOL… unless of course you have hit the lottery
I also love the smell of new band-aids – AND new shower curtains … I buy one a month at $2.39 at wally world and have a fresh viynl smell with whatever fresh flowers sit in the mud room! LOL… and Ohhh home grown tomatoes leaves(Store bought do NOT have ‘the’ smell!) and gasoline too.
Hmmm….
Roo is as precious as can be! Adorable!!!I have never seen her in a pony tail… love it!
Kimberly

I wandered again in from some like-minded moms sites to yours and just had to stop and say: your pictures are breathtaking. Truly lovely!
