I spend the better part of my day saying, “well look at you, little Lucy-poo”
yes, it would drive you mad.
But, look at her!!!
Roo thinks snails are just overdressed slugs
(but she will play with them anyway because she is not a snob)

A Snapping Turtle and a vintage Piano-phone (yard sale find!!)
ETA: the pianophone is like an autoharp except it has these bars to change the key while playing.

The last one I think is a cross between the abominable snowman and a seal? The Abominable Snowseal?????????? Lucy reminds me of my Chloe as a puppy so much!

Very cool snail portrait! I have a deep love for bugs and now a new found respect for slugs and snails…I find that when you look closely and deeply you will find the lovable little soul..lol
Super cute puppy!…is there anything better than a baby animal to snuggle? I am constantly walking around the house saying Mr. Jelly in a too-high pitched voice and making u songs for him…lol

We sing “Chili-Chili Cocoa puff!” when talking to our pup. Teeheee! She only responds when we sing… how sad is that?!

I’ve never heard (or read) the term “piano phone.” Where I came from it was mostly “zither.” Sometimes “autoharp.” Mostly “zither.” Which, come to think of it, seems a mighty strange term.
And looking at your first painting in 3 years and some months, it’s all clear now. You’re a freaking artist! I think I knew that. Of course, I’m probably the last person to have figured it out. Will you be burying the last picture up there? Please?
And finally, I admire Roo’s attachment (maybe not a good term) to slugs. But the photos nearly make me think slugs aren’t quite as gross as I think they are. Then again, not….

One size does NOT fit all! (I love the Waitresses.) We sing and say goofy stuff to our pets. It’s ’cause we love them almost as much as we love the kids ( to whom we also sing and say goofy stuff). Lucy-Poo is delish.
