This is so amazing. Excellent photograph…really beautiful…
RYC: Thank you so much for you thoughtfulness and your well wishes. You are dear and I so greatly appreciate you.
we get those here too i love them. they are my favorite sign of summer. i love your photo posts. and your hair looks absolutely stunning with that ginger twist to it!!!!!! you have my dream hair curls and color of choice my friend. how excited are the kids for a pup? please tell me you are going the shelter route and not shelling out cash for a purebred. muts are so much more fun and lovely.
if i had 3+acres of yard i would let it grow so wild and free. and then run through it with the setting sun
Aren’t they just amazing? Sometimes, a stray will blow in from who knows where. I don’t think they’re indiginous to Texas, but I always feel like a little luck will rub off on me when I see one.
I am your devoted student…
You’ve captured this one so beautifully! They are some of the most beautiful creatures one can encounter. Blessings abound
our whole family was in awe at the beauty…thank you for sharing
Wow, that is really stunning. The wings are such a pretty shade of green. I wonder if I could find one around my neighborhood. I shall search!
That’s beautiful. But I would have screamed and danced around like a fool if I saw it!
Oh man. I’m racking (or is it wracking) my brain for another quote that reminds me of. Something about beauty and profanity both being reflections of the devine. Argh! I used to be so smart.
Great camara btw.
Wow! I now feel as if I have been intimate with a moth, lol. That’s amazing detail, I bet you’re loving your new camera!! You are so talented Julie! Very cool.
Those pics are so cool! Much better than the *bad art* in the other post. lol Now those pics scared me!

i’m not a fan of bugs in general but that’s an awesome quote. haven’t seen those moths here in nyc, but the wings look like leaves so maybe i’ve just never noticed them
That is a beautiful moth. I think I have seen one, maybe once or twice in my life. Usually I just see the annoying ones than flit around the light at night. Nice quote too. Tricia
I’m stunned, that is so amazingly beautiful.

I love moths! Luna moths are especially gorgeous. You’ve inspired me to make some moth broth to lure some moths tonight
That is the prettiest moth I have ever seen. Have you ever seen the Oleander moths? I don’t know their real names but they bloom from the caterpillars that feast on the Oleander’s leaves, they are beautiful too. I will look for a picture.
