We Have Returned
~~~~~
We had a wonderful time with Mimi and Papa!
We played in the garden,
practiced our KUNG FU,
and listened to Papa play accordian and fiddle.
We had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast
and met Rosie (my sister’s new baby Boxer).
Meet Rosie.
It was a perfect transition.
~~~
Jesse found this note from Daddy when we came home.
we will miss him but the month will pass
and we are all so loved.

Wow, the first time I’ve had a chance to be your first comment. I didn’t even wait for all the pics to download on my very slow dial up computer. The camera looks great. I think my nephews have cameras like that and they love them. Enjoy.
Karma baby. You’ve got good karma. Oh yeah, and you’re a really wonderful person too.
What a perfectly floppy puppy! The kids are cute, too.:heartbeat: What a fantastic gift, hubby and camera. Take TONS of pics.:littlekiss:
I missed you! :heartbeat: So glad to hear you had a good time. I think the kids have grown. Seriously, Roo looks older and Jesse looks very long all stretched out that kung foo picture! Love the note…and the camera. You have a wonderful man. :sunny:
You of all people deserve a great camera!!!! Have fun with it!
Patience pays off.
THe camera areticle discusses the camera’s “street price” like we are dealing cocaine or acid!!
oh you definitely need that camera!! so glad it worked out.
geez, even *I* am sad your husband is gone now
Although I hope Jesse did better at deciphering that note than I could… (it took me several takes to figure out “miss” – haha).
A month is a LONG time. And I can’t believe he left you home alone after your painting spree last time!!
Congratulations!!!!! How exciting, you SO deserve that camera, you take amazing pictures! Can’t wait to see the pics you take with it!
That is such a cute note and Jesse has clothes on!!!!!
You’ll have to update us even more often on your days, I bet that will make them go by quicker. :spinning:
Every picture is perfect! What a puppy! I was just about to go through Julie withdrawls and then I saw your comment and felt much much better!
Would you do me a voyeristic favor and take some pictures of your gardens and homesteading area? Do you compost? How ’bout chickens? I just wanna see all your stuff…
Woohoo!! Welcome home and CONGRATS!! I am saving away for that very same camera and making no head way. lol But….Joe and I did talk about it and once I get the money for it, I can go ahead and take the photo courses that I have been dying to do. Which will really help me start building the confidence that I need to take pics as a side job. I am SO thrilled for you!! If anyone was to get that camera, I am SO thrilled that it was you!
well, i don’t know, but i’d say you put so much joy into the world that it works itself right back to you.
woohoo! Yay for unexpected suprises!:sunny:
Glad you had a good time. The pictures are, as always, wonderful. The new camera looks great! My Guy has the non digital version and we love it. The digital version is a year of two in the future, but on “save the coins for” list
Cool camera! I’m planning on taking a photography course when the baby is bigger – So what are you planning on doing with your old camera? Selling it, maybe?
Love the note! Happy you got your camera! Hope the time passes quickly and your husband is home soon. Oh, sounds like you had a great visit!
OH Julie!!!! I’m drooling over that camera!!!!! Congratulations!!! ((a real digital SLR!!!)) (happy sigh!) (-: So were these photos with the new one?)
I love your husband’s notes to Jessie! Please promise you’ll keep posting them??!!? (If you are inclined) Those Daddy notes touch my heart.
Rosie is a little love!
yay! I’m so happy you had such a nice visit and got your camera!
I can’t wait to know as much as you about cameras and photography. I have learned so much from you already.
What makes this one so wonderful?? I thought your other one took amazing pictures. What do you look for in a great camera??
crunchy: nope, the new camera is coming in a few days.
I will keep posting these notes, I love have a scan of them anyway…
bellydancer: I am keeping my old one for now as I would lose my mind if anything happened to my new one and I were camera-less. It wouldn’t be pretty.
Oh and I forgot. Trevor is just such a great dad! I’m so impressed with him. :goodjob:
The universe always provides. You did well saving!!!
Congratulations on that new camera, and on having such a wonderful husband and family too!
I can’t let my daughter see that camera. I’d never hear the end of it. Our price range is a ‘litte’ lower. Maybe someday. You provide so much beauty and joy for the world with your pictures, I can’t think of a better person to have it. And your hubby is a treasure.
Gasp! You got it! You got it! I am expecting great things.
How do you handle it all? My husband is also away for a month and I’m tired and need to hug him. The note is fabulous. That kind of stuff really makes a kid feel special. You’re an inspiration!
:sunny: I love to hear how the Universe provides when you make clear your desires. :sunny:
welcome back! Glad to hear you three had a wonderful time. And a fun new toy too!!!
That’s great! We bought my sister that camera and she loves it.
What a sweet note! You have such a wonderful family. :heartbeat:
Um so Wow tears on the note-from-daddy thing (been really emotional and mothery lately), and i dont think the camera could have been put in better hands
Does he have to do long trips like this often.. That is a beautiful note. I am sure the time will go quickly. Congrats on the new camera. It looks cool.
wow Ruby really has grown!! I almost missed this post.
I also think its your good karma, Julie. You are a pleasure to even chat with online.. you create so much joy by your own love for life. Im glad you got the camera you wanted.
I hope the month passes quickly and yay on the camera! I love how lucky you are and how aware of that you are. You truly are a blessing (=
Yay!!! I’m so glad for you! Such a fun and useful toy.
